There are a few compelling reasons for enterprises to get on to tap the potential of SMS-based mobile data services. For many enterprises, such wireless initiatives form ways to provide excellent customer service, boost productivity, achieve significant cost reduction, and have the edge to provide the simply functionality necessary to remain competitive. A good example is the financial industry where wireless services have played a role in maintaining competitive position in the consumer market. Many leading banks, stock brokers and mutual funds have already started such service in which their customers receive pre-defined ‘business-rules’ driven alerts or notifications. These notifications or alerts are a result of SMS-enabling of business processes. Such a service eliminates the need of conventional getting connected on voice, thereby reducing direct communication cost and indirect costs (time of people making voice calls) and complexity involved in the business process.
IVR Call Centre System
The SSL-IVR Solution is an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solution platform using ISDN ISDN on Dialogic boards and systems. The solution is a suite of applications consisting of the following:
1. Network Manager
2. Callflow Manager
3. Configuration Manager 
The Network Manager and Callflow Manager are server-based applications communicating with each other, exchanging messages. The Network Manager manages the network side. It passes events like incoming calls from the network to the Callflow Server.
The Network Manager will process all operations returning result to the Callflow Server for further processing and establish interactions with the caller, in form of voice message playback etc.
The Callflow Server accepts each call from the Network Manager and processes the calls based on already defined business processes established by Crusader Pension. Callflow Server will handle such operations as accepting incoming calls, getting digits from the caller, playing prompts, recording voice file (Voice Mail, Call Centre Applications), playing numbers/balances, playing dates, playing characters, etc, as may be required by the business processes.
The Configuration Manager enables users to setup various operational parameters, database connection settings as may be required. It equally has option for accepting or rejecting calls. This is useful when there is need to temporarily suspend calls processing without shutting down the IVR Server.
